If you want to be a part of our team, please provide samples of your work as we are seeking progressive and highly motivated individuals to join our team to fill up the position of Senior Video Editor: Job Summary: The Editor will be responsible for technical quality of all video and audio elements produced in the edit suite to meet deliverable requirements. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling materials such as graphics, photography, dialogue, raw camera footage, sound effects and other special effects into a finished product with quality, length or production acceptable for broadcasting. Responsibilities will also include but not limited to cutting shot sequences to various angles; studying scripts; editing films and videotapes to include sound effects, dialogue, music and other elements; correcting errors; selecting shots for each scenes suitable for the story line; verifying time codes and key numbers; choosing specific visual effects, music and special audio; organizing raw footage into a continuous film; reviewing edited tapes and assembled films; programming graphic effects; setting up and operating computer editing systems; communicating with producers and directors to meet specific goals; supervising and coordinating activities with other staff members; developing post-production models for films; and developing film soundtracks, among others.

LOCATION: Phnom Penh.

RESPONSIBILITY:

●        Develops thorough understanding and familiarity with production concepts and requirements.

●        Ability to edit the footage creatively depending on the client’s requirements.

●        Ensures all shot sequences are cut into different angles at specific points in scenes making each individual cut as fluid and seamless as possible.

●        Arrange and combine the most effective shots of each scene to arrive at a logical and smoothly running story.

●        Mark frames where a particular shot or segment of sound is to begin or end.

●        Determine the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete the film.

●        Edit films/video to insert music, dialogue and sound effects to arrange sequences and correct errors by applying different editing facilities.

●        Coordinates with other team members on the development of the editing procedures specifically the Art Director and Creative Team.

●        Responsibility for the creation of video content to deadline and required standard-from idea.

●        Insure to create Look and Feel for video content

●        Responsible of using standards among existing video editing team

●        Creative use of achieve and ability to track down source material

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be proficient in Final Cut Pro 7.
A big plus if familiar with FCPX as we have upgraded to FCPX.
Understand the HDSLR workflow on Mac in terms of Video editing
Color correction, Media Management, and Project Management skill are essential.
Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop a plus.
2+ years of experience in editing and video post production.
